Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Class

Starting next school year, we will begin offering a transitional kindergarten (TK) class for kindergarten-age children (5 years old) who could benefit from the gift of an extra year to further grow and develop. This class may be ideal for children who are young (summer birthdays), or who need additional academic, emotional, social, or speech development. This class is a level between Preschool and Kindergarten.

Transitional Kindergarten bridges the path between Preschool and Kindergarten and provides the gift of time that will help children build a strong foundation for success in elementary school.

TK Class Specifics:

*The class will be located at our Early Education Campus at St. John Lutheran Church.

*Students must be 5 by August 31.

*TK is a full-day class operating from 9am-3pm.

*The following subjects will be taught: English Language Arts, Math, Handwriting, Science and/or Social Studies, Bible, and enrichment classes being taught daily.

*Students are eligible to access support services such as Speech and Title 1 Reading or Math from the LIU if applicable.

*Students are eligible for public transportation from their local school district within 10 miles of the school.

*Students would qualify for financial aid.

*Tuition: $365/month ($3650/year)

*All new students to the school must participate in entrance testing before acceptance into the class.
